When Kingstowne Pools Will Open For Summer 2019

KINGSTOWNE, VA—As warm weather begins to stick around, you may be ready for the first swim of the season. For many outdoor pools, you won't have to wait much longer.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 25, the start of Memorial Day Weekend and the unofficial start of summer nearly everywhere. That will be opening day for most pools in Kingstowne and around the area.

Below are the pool hours for the 2019 summer season. Check with individual pools for membership requirements and closings for swim meets and private events.

South Center: 6080 Kingstowne Village Parkway, Alexandria

• May 25-June 13: weekdays noon-9 p.m., weekends 10 a.m.-9 p.m.
• June 14-Aug. 25: 10 a.m.-9 p.m. (pool closes at 5:30 p.m. on June 14)
• Aug. 26-Sept. 1: weekdays 4 p.m.-8 p.m., weekends 10 a.m.-9 p.m.
• July 4: 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
• Sept. 2 (Labor Day): 10 a.m.-8 p.m.

Snyder Center: 6450 South Van Dorn Street, Alexandria

• May 25-June 13: weekdays noon-9 p.m., weekends 10 a.m.-9 p.m.
• June 14-Aug. 25: 10 a.m.-9 p.m.
• Aug. 26-Sept. 1: weekdays 4 p.m.-8 p.m., weekends 10 a.m.-9 p.m.
• July 4: 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
• Sept. 2 (Labor Day): 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
