$50K Powerball Winner in Manassas

There are three tickets across the nation that will split a share of the nearly $1.6B Powerball jackpot from Wednesday night.

But one ticket in Manassas proves there’s more cash prizes than just the jackpot.

A ticket purchased at the Manassas Mall Exxon, 8289 Sudley Road, is worth $50,000, according to state lottery officials.

The winning numbers for the jackpot on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016 were:

• 4-8-19-27-34 and the Powerball 10

Two $1 million tickets were sold in Salem and Virginia Beach.

The Virginia Lottery notes that Powerball ticket sales in the state amounted to $34.7 million in profit, all of which will go to K-12 schools.
