Armed Robbery in Manassas Area

MANASSAS, VA — Prince William County Police is investigating an armed robbery Tuesday night in the Manassas area.

The victim, 46, told police that he was walking around 8 p.m. in the 10000 block of Irongate Way when two unknown men approached him.

One of the men pulled out a gun while the other went through the victim’s pockets, removing two cell phones and an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspects fled the area on foot.

Minor injuries were reported. A police K-9 could not locate the suspects.

Police describe the men as

• Black male, between 28 and 30 years of age, 6’0”, 200lbs with a medium build and black hair. Last seen wearing a grey jacket and black sweatpants
• White male, between 18 and 20 years of age, 5’8”, 150lbs with a thin build. Last seen wearing a white sweater and blue sweatpants
