Auditions for LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS presented by the Center for the Arts’ Rooftop Productions will take place at the Center for the Arts on Saturday, February 6 from 1:30 pm -4:30 pm and Monday, February 8 from 6 pm-9 pm . LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, directed by Ted Ballard with book and lyrics by Howard Ashman and music by Alan Menken performs at the Kellar Theater at the Center for the Arts, 9419 Battle St., Manassas on Fridays and Saturdays from April 8-23, 2016. Those auditioning should be age 18 or older. Come to the auditions prepared to sing a song from the show. There will also be cold readings from the script. Please bring a resume and photo. LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS Synopsis: Seymour Krelborn is a meek assistant at a floral shop who happens upon a strange plant, which he affectionately names “Audrey II” after his crush at the shop. Little does he know that this strange and unusual plant will develop an unquenchable thirst for human blood. As Audrey II grows bigger and meaner, the carnivorous plant promises limitless fame and fortune to Seymour, as long as he continues providing a fresh supply of blood. Just when it’s too late, Seymour discovers Audrey II’s extra-terrestrial origins and his true drive for world-domination.
