Fire and rescue crews were dispatched at about 3:30 p.m. to the single-family home in the 9700 block of Manassas Forge Drive, the fire department said. They saw fire and smoke coming from the roof and extinguished the blaze; the fire did not reach other parts of the house.

No injuries were reported, but the home’s two residents were displaced, the fire department said. A building inspector posted the home as unsafe.
