Man Killed, Woman Seriously Injured in Manassas Stabbing
Suspect is in custody, was also wounded in the struggle, according to Prince William County Police.

MANASSAS, VA — A man was killed and a woman seriously injured in a stabbing in Manassas Saturday morning, according to Prince William County Police.
Officers responded to the scene in the 7400 block of Willoughby Lane around 8:35 a.m. to investigate the double stabbing. Officers located two victims on scene, a man and a woman.
The man died as a result of his injuries and the female victim is currently being treated at an area hospital for serious injuries.

The suspect, who was also injured in the incident, is an acquaintance of the woman, police said. He was taken into custody and is currently receiving treatment for his wounds.
Police say this is an isolated incident and there is no greater danger to the public.

The names of the victims and the suspect have not been released. Police noted this is the 13th homicide in Prince William County in 2016.
The investigation is ongoing.
