Manassas City Public Schools is continuing the conversation about the quality of its school counseling program with the launch of its spring school counseling survey. “It is critical that we provide exceptional service to our students in all aspects of our schools,” Dr. Catherine Magouyrk, superintendent of MCPS, said. “That means we must understand if our counseling program fully supports our students’ academic achievement, social and emotional well-being, and college and career readiness.”
To help the district evaluate its progress this year, parents of students in grades 3–12 are again invited to share their experiences with school counseling, including how counselors connect to students and their lives. In addition, students in grades 3–12 will complete the survey during school.
