Manassas 'Doctor' Touting Cure for Cancer Faces Drug, Money Laundering Charges
Peter Bodunrin Adeniji, 67, of Bristow, allegedly told an undercover agent to eschew traditional cancer treatments.

MANASSAS, VA — An apparently phony doctor who told patients he had a "cure for cancer" was arrested Monday following a two-month investigation by the Prince William-Manassas-Manassas Park Narcotics Task Force.
Peter Bodunrin Adeniji, 67, of Bristow, was charged with seven counts of operating a medical practice without a license, five counts of obtaining money by false pretenses, four counts of dispensing drugs without a license and one count of money laundering. The arrest was announced Tuesday.
Working out of the Integrated Health and Wellness Medical Practice on 9300 Forest Point Circle in Manassas, Adeniji told an undercover agent in June to eschew traditional cancer treatments and instead buy his apparently home-made medication — for approximately $1,200 per bottle.

The FBI analyzed the supposed medication, and on Monday detectives executed a search warrant at Adeniji's home, his practice and a post office box which the accused used to ship his medications. They recovered $17,000 and ingredients to produce drugs.
The investigation indicated Adeniji may have had patients across the United States and internationally. People who believe they may have victimized are urged by police to call 703-686-6522.
