Police: Name Released in Fatal Stabbing, No Charges Yet

48-year-old was stabbed by a family member during a domestic dispute, according to Prince William County Police.

Investigators have released the name of a man killed in a stabbing Sunday afternoon near Manassas.

The death of Stephen Christopher Brown, 48, of Manassas, was the county’s fifth homicide in 2015.

Officers responded to a report of a stabbing at 3:46 p.m. Sunday in the 12700 block of Lost Creek Court.

Officers found Brown dead from a stab wound following a domestic altercation.

Police say he was stabbed by a 25-year-old male family member.
