Police: Woman Startles Burglar in Neighbor's Home (ICYMI)
In Case You Missed It: The suspect fled the scene on a bicycle, say Manassas police.

A Manassas woman who was checking on a neighbor’s house a week ago apparently scared away a burglar, according to the city police.
At about 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 12, Manassas police officers responded to a residence in the 8900 block of Rolling Road for a report of a burglary in progress. The woman told the officers that she had encountered an unknown young man standing in the kitchen of her neighbor’s home.

He exited the kitchen through a rear door and fled on a bicycle, the police said. He was last seen riding north on Rolling Road.
The suspect is described as a white male, about 20 years old, with a thin build, weighing about 180 pounds with dirty blond, medium-length hair. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a fluorescent pink design on the back, and riding a dark-colored bicycle.
