Thousands of Names Added to State Sex Offender List

In accordance with a new state law, the Virginia State Police has posted a supplemental list to the Virginia Sex Offender and Crimes Against Minors Registry.

The supplement includes information on people who were convicted of certain sexual offenses between 1980 and 1994, who were not currently on the registry. >>>read more.

President Obama to Host Gun Control Town Meeting at GMU

President Barack Obama will visit George Mason University in Fairfax on Thursday to host a town meeting with CNN’s Anderson Cooper on gun control. “Guns in America” will be broadcast live at 8 p.m. Thursday.
