Traffic Alert: Police To Monitor Busy Intersection

The Prince William County police will keep a close eye today on a busy intersection in the western end of the county in an effort to protect pedestrians and bicyclists.

The Police Department announced on its Facebook page Friday that officers on motorcycles and in squad cars will monitor the intersection of Prince William Parkway and University Drive, at the entrance of Innovation Park, an office complex.

They will watch for motorists who break traffic laws, "addressing violations that endanger bicyclists and pedestrians," the police said.
