Police Checkpoint Friday in Georgetown South

MANASSAS, VA - The Manassas City Police Department will conduct a traffic safety checkpoint in the area of Georgetown South from 7 to 11 p.m. Friday.

Officers will inspect vehicles for compliance with traffic and safety regulations (operator’s licenses, safety inspections, state registrations, child car seats, seat belts and general traffic enforcement), according to a post on the department’s Facebook site.

Georgetown South is a townhouse community off Wellington Road west of Grant Avenue.
