Two Cars Stolen, $3,000 in Tools Stolen From Another Vehicle and More Manassas Crime Reports

Manassas City Police crime reports for Oct. 19, 2015.

The following incidents are posted as reported by Manassas City Police.

Larceny

On Oct. 16, 2015, Manassas City Police met with a resident at a storage facility located at 9140 Mathis Ave for a report of a larceny. The reporting party told officers that sometime between Oct. 6 and Oct. 15, someone broke into the unit where she stored some of her belongings and stole several items valued together at $850, to include toys and a lamp.

Burglary

On Oct. 16, 2015, Manassas City Police met with a resident for a report of a burglary that took place on the 8900 block of Cannon Ridge Dr. The reporting party told officers that sometime between June 2015 and Oct. 16, someone forced entry through a window at the residence and stole several pairs of Nike shoes and a PlayStation gaming console. The stolen items were valued together at $435.

Stolen Auto

On Oct. 14, 2015, Manassas City Police met with a resident at Auto Land (8905 Mathis Ave) for a report of a stolen vehicle. The reporting party told officers that sometime between 7 p.m.on Oct. 13 and 10 a.m. on Oct. 14, his 1989 Toyota Celica was stolen from its parking space in the rear of the business’s property. The vehicle was white with red rims and valued at $5,000.

Stolen Auto

On Oct. 14, 2015, Manassas City Police met with a resident for a report of a stolen vehicle. The reporting party told officers that when the vehicle she was driving on Oct. 13 got a flat tire, she left it overnight in the Harris Teeter parking lot (10060 Market Cir). When she returned to retrieve the vehicle on Oct. 14, the 2003 Hyundai Elantra, valued at $3000, was missing.

Larceny from Vehicle

On Oct. 14, 2015, Manassas City Police met with a resident on the 8800 block of Sudley Rd for a report of a larceny from vehicle. The reporting party told officers that sometime between Oct. 7 and Oct. 14, someone gained entry into his work vehicle by breaking the locks and stole over $2990 worth of tools, to include a pressure washer, ladders, and a table saw.
