Two Strong-Arm Robbery Suspects Are At Large: Police

The Prince William County police are looking for two suspects who allegedly assaulted and robbed a Manassas man early Thursday.

Officers responded at 4:34 a.m. to the report of the robbery in the area of Ashton Avenue and Coverstone Drive, west of Sudley Road (Route 234) near Interstate 66, according to a police report.

The 24-year-old victim told police that he was walking in the area when he approached by two unknown men. They punched him in the head and knocked him to the ground, the police said.

At some point, the victim was cut in the hand by an unknown sharp object. The suspects then went through the victim's pockets, removing a wallet before fleeing on foot, the police said.

The officers checked the surrounding area, but did not locate the suspects. The victim was not able to provide any description of the suspects, the police said.
