• Wanted woman faces obstruction charge after barricading herself in room (wavy.com) — Deputies in Mathews County recently arrested a woman who had locked herself in a bedroom on Cricket Hill Road after she failed to appear in court on earlier charges. She was taken into custody without further incident, faces an additional obstruction of justice charge, and is being held without bond at the regional security center.
