32-Story Lumen at Tysons Makes Construction Progress
Once completed in spring 2019, it will be one of the tallest buildings in Tysons.

TYSONS, VA—The Lumen at Tysons, a 32-story, mixed-use building in the heart of Tysons, is making progress toward its spring 2019 completion.
The building has "topped out," a construction milestone where workers put the last beam on the structure, developer LMC and Hoar Construction announced.
The community will feature 32 stories, with 398 apartment homes and more than 11,000 square feet of retail space on the ground floor. Apartment units will have high-end appliances and finishes—and upper level residents will have quite a view. A public plaza and other amenities will also be offered.

"We're very excited about this iconic project," said Jeff Kruse, vice president of Hoar's DC division. "With such a prominent location in Tysons, the residents will have views that stretch from the Blue Ridge Mountains to the Washington Monument and National Cathedral. Lumen at Tysons is a landmark project in Tysons."
Retail has yet to be announced. There will be retail garage parking on site.

The Lumens at Tysons will be located at the Leesburg Pike and Chain Bridge Road intersection near the Greensboro Metro Station. Meanwhile, another proposal called the View at Tysons could become the region's tallest building at 48 stories. Developers acquired the first parcel of land near the Spring Hill Metro for the project earlier this year.
