Bark In Boro Park: Tysons Spring Dog Festival, Agility Course

TYSONS, VA — The Boro will host its "Bark in Boro Park" celebration on Saturday, April 25, offering a morning of agility courses, crafts and treats for local dogs and their owners.
The event, which runs from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, features a series of guided training sessions led by Zoom Room Springfield. The 20- to 30-minute sessions are scheduled for 10 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Organizers noted that tickets are required for preferred time slots and late arrivals may forfeit their spot.
Following the training, dogs of all sizes can participate in an agility challenge. The two fastest dogs to complete the course will each receive a $100 gift card to a restaurant at The Boro.

Other scheduled activities include:
- Custom Bandana Station: An interactive craft area to decorate pup-sized bandanas.
- Dog Tag Engraving: On-site personalization of bone-shaped identification tags.
- Bone Bar and Giveaways: A selection of toys and treats for guests to fill complimentary treat bags.
- Spring Photo Op: A festive backdrop for seasonal portraits in Boro Park.
The event also includes family-friendly activities such as glitter tattoos and Earth Day-themed crafts for children.

"Bark in Boro Park" is free and open to the public, though organizers encourage attendees to register in advance via Eventbrite. All dogs must remain leashed and accompanied by an owner at all times. Giveaways and select activities are available while supplies last.
In the event of inclement weather, a rain date is scheduled for Sunday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The Boro is located at 8350 Broad St.
