BASIS Independent McLean’s Pravi Putalapattu Stars in WJLA-TV’s Good Morning Washington’s ‘Who Wants to Be a Mathematician’

Ms. Pravi Putalapattu, 7th grader at BASIS Independent McLean, recently competed on WJLA-TV’s Good Morning Washington’s ‘Who Wants to Be Mathematician’, along with Good Morning Washington anchors and student competitor, Andrew Wu, 10th grader at St. Albans School of Washington, D.C. Putalapattu earned first place in the MATHCOUNTS Virginia state competition, and is heading to Orlando, Fla. for the national MATHCOUNTS competition in May, along with her BASIS Independent McLean MATHCOUNTS teammates.
