Food Hall Gets 2 New Vendors At Tysons Galleria
There have been vendor changes at the food hall, including the closing of Stomping Ground.
TYSONS, VA — The Urbanspace food hall at Tysons Galleria has welcomed two new vendors: LaoWich and Butcher’s Cut. Among these changes, Stomping Ground is no longer open.
LaoWich is an Asian-style sandwich and pastry shop that opened on Saturday, Nov. 16. Sandwich options include crispy chicken, deep fried catfish, roasted pork belly, and crispy tofu. All come on a brioche bun with Spicy Sen sauce and tamarind fries. The sandwich bread and selection of Asian pastries are house-made. The menu is rounded out by sweet hot and cold drinks with flavors like pandan, coconut, and inventive tea.
The concept comes from Chefs Seng Luangrath and Nyi Nyi Mynt, another Urbanspace vendor specializing in Laotian cuisine. LaoWich is expected to be open until Dec. 31.

The other recent opening is Butcher's Cut, which specializes in steak frites. The "meat and potatoes" of the menu is the signature steaks with seasoned shoestring fries. It can be paired with offerings like a salad with feta, tomato, and pecans in a lemon Dijon dressing and wine. The pop-up concept will close in January.
Urbanspace opened in December 2018, replacing Mike Isabella's nine concept Isabella Eatery. Located on the third floor of Tysons Galleria, it's open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Other vendors are Andy's Pizza, Donburi, Lady M Cake Boutique and Sen Khao.
