Boy, 18, Who Was Hit by a Car and in a Coma, Overcomes the Odds to Run Cross Country (today.com) — An 18-year-old McLean student who suffered a severe brain injury and coma after being hit by a car at age 6 has fought his way back to become a competitive cross-country runner. With years of therapy, he relearned to walk, speak, and study, and now hopes to run in college and possibly pursue a career in physical therapy.
