Ground Breaking Event Held at Lewinsville Community Campus

John Foust, Dranesville District Supervisor, announces the ground breaking celebration for the Lewinsville Center in McLean.

Please join John Foust, Dranesville District Supervisor; Richard “Rip” Sullivan, Virginia House of Delegates; C. Melissa Jonas, Dranesville District Commissioner to the Fairfax County Redevelopment Housing Authority; Shelley Murphy, President and CEO of Wesley Housing; Chris Leonard, Director of Fairfax County’s Department of Neighborhood and Community Services, Shauna Severo, Assistant Director of Patient Care Services, Fairfax County Health Department as well as neighbors and users of the current facility as they celebrate the ground breaking for the Lewinsville Center expansion and renovation.

This project represents a public-private partnership between Fairfax County and Wesley Hamel Lewinsville LLC. Once completed, the Lewinsville Community Campus will include 82 independent, affordable living residences, an expanded Senior Center, an expanded Adult Day Center, two children’s day care centers, and a regulation under-13 youth playing field.
