Here are all the important dates families need to know about for the rest of the school year.
If you consider the winter break as a mid point of the school year, you might be thinking about the important dates coming up in 2020. Fairfax County Public Schools students will head back to classes on Monday, Jan. 6 after the winter break.
We've rounded up a list of important dates left in the 2019-2020 school year for McLean. That includes spring vacation, holidays and high school graduations.
- No school for Martin Luther King Jr. Day: Jan. 20
- End of second quarter: Jan. 24
- No school for students: Jan. 27-28
- No school for Washington's Birthday and Presidents' Day: Feb. 17
- No school for students: March 3
- End of third quarter: April 3
- No school for spring break: April 6-10
- No school for students: April 13
- No school for Memorial Day: May 25
- McLean High School graduation: June 1
- Langley High School graduation: June 1
- Marshall High School graduation: June 1
- Last day of school and early release: June 12
