Meet The Richest Person In Virginia
Their family business has fed America's sweet tooth for decades, and the sugar has helped make one person the richest in Virginia. Forbes came out with its list of the "Richest Person in Every State" last week.
And the richest person in Virginia is....Jacqueline Mar, who is worth $27.6 billion. The heiress to the Mars candy fortune, along with brothers John and the late Forrest Jr. (who died in July 2016 at age 84) inherited Mars Inc., headquartered in McLean.

Jackie Kennedy's Virginia Childhood Home Listed For $49.5M
McLean's lavish estates along the Potomac River are often the most expensive on the Northern Virginia market, and quite a few celebrities have made McLean home over the years. Arguably the most storied property is Merrywood, where Jackie Kennedy Onassis grew up. The home has changed hands a number of times since 1919 between top political and business leaders. Now current owner, AOL co-founder and former CEO Steve Case, is selling, and the asking price is $49.5 million.

Bank Robbed Near Spring Hill Station In Tysons
An unknown suspect is sought in a bank robbery reported near the Spring Hill Metro Station in Tysons Thursday, June 22. Fairfax County Police said the incident occurred around 2 p.m. at Old Dominion National Bank on Westwood Center Drive. Police say the unknown suspect demanded money from a teller and left with a undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured.
Uber Driver Carjacked In Tysons Corner
An Uber driver had his car stolen when he was held at gunpoint at the 8100 block of Leesburg Pike near Tysons Corner Center. The Uber driver was waiting for a new rider when the unknown suspect walked up to the car and demanded money. The victim said he had no money, and the suspect pointed a handgun and ordered the victim out of the car. The Uber driver got out and the suspect drove away.
