Calling All Golfers
Join Good Shepherd Housing & Family Services at their 10th Annual Golf Outing at the Osprey Golf Club at Belmont Bay on October 7th.
Good Shepherd Housing & Family Services is hosting their 10th Annual Golf Outing at the beautiful Osprey Golf Club at Belmont Bay in Woodbridge on Wednesday, October 7th. Registration and lunch will begin at noon, with a shotgun start at 1 pm.
Golfers have enjoyed beautiful weather each year as they play the challenging course. There are prizes for the first place team as well as other contests throughout the course. One hole will offer golfers the chance to compete for the longest drive and another will offer a contest for ”closest to the pin.”
The golf outing has always been a fun day with our attendees staying for a dinner afterwards and an opportunity to bid on some great auction items. Player registrations include greens fees, lunch, dinner, and unlimited drinks. And even if you aren’t able to join us for golf, dinner only tickets are available. Register or sponsor today because spots are filling up fast!

Good Shepherd Housing & Family Services prevents homelessness among the working poor, seniors, and people with disabilities by renting apartments with supportive services, making grants to prevent evictions, and providing counseling and financial education. Families facing eviction receive funds during short-term crises, while those without housing gain access to affordable housing where they can also re-establish good credit. Families falling in and out of homelessness receive financial support and counseling to move them into stable homes and help them achieve long-term self-sufficiency. Along with its partners, GSH is also developing, coordinating, and supporting a County-wide network that provides housing search assistance to prevent homelessness. Over 750 families were “stabilized” last year and additional housing units were purchased to buffer families from rising rents. Clients use their own income as their primary resource; GSH’s role is to act as a catalyst – and then step back and allow the clients’ accomplishments to be entirely their own.
