FBI Joins Search For Missing Mount Vernon Teen
Police say some witnesses recently in touch with the missing girl are not fully cooperating with the investigation.

MOUNT VERNON, VA—As the search continues for a missing Mount Vernon teen, the FBI has joined the investigation. Jholie Moussa, 16, was last seen Friday, Jan. 12 in the 4200 block of Sonia Court. Police believe she left on her own and may not be in immediate danger.
Detectives have interviewed family and friends, including around 20 witnesses that have spoken to her recently. Many of these witnesses are friends that are not fully cooperating with the investigation.
Moussa was reported missing Saturday, Jan. 13 and has been entered as a runaway juvenile in the National Crime Information Center database. She is a sophomore at Mount Vernon High School.

Her mother, Syreeta Hill, asks anyone with information to come forward, as she does not believe her daughter would run away. She told Fox5DC the girl claimed to be going to a party in Norfolk and did not bring her clothes or phone charger with.
Moussa is approximately 5 foot 2 and 104 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. The teen had been wearing a black coat with a fur collar, a plaid shirt and blue jeans with UGG boots.
