Group of Men Assault, Rob Victim Monday Morning on Richmond Highway

Incident took place at 3:30 a.m., police said.

Fairfax County Police say a mob of men assaulted and robbed a pedestrian in the middle of the night Monday.

The robbery took place on Frye Road near Richmond Highway Monday at about 3:30 a.m., according to police.

The victim was walking and was approached by of a group of five to seven men, police said. The suspects assaulted the victim, took cash and property and fled, according to FCPD. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspects were described as Hispanic or black males in their 20s, according to police.
