UPDATE: Body Found of Missing Mount Vernon Area Man Sean Harris

UPDATE Wednesday, Nov. 19:

Sean Harris was located deceased in Huntley Meadows Park on Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 18 according to Fairfax County Police.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death. Detectives do not believe that the death was suspicious or poses a threat to public safety.

Police are searching for Sean Harris, 55, of the 4400 block of Wyres Street, in Alexandria. Harris left his home on either Nov. 10 or 11 and has not been seen since. Family members are concerned for his welfare.

The address is off of Richmond Highway, near Buckman Road.

Police describe Harris as white, 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds; he has brown hair and blue eyes. He was possibly wearing a gray and black winter coat.
