Suspect Points Gun at Teen During Afternoon Robbery: Police

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- A teenager walking home from work was robbed at gunpoint Thursday afternoon in the Mount Vernon area, according to Fairfax County Police.

The incident took place near El Cerrito Place and Seven Woods Drive (see map below) Thursday at around 1:25 p.m. Three men approached a 19-year-old man as he was walking home from work, police said.

One suspect allegedly assaulted the victim, pointed a gun at him and took his cell phone and wallet, according to police. The victim did not require medical attention.
