Mount Vernon House Apartments is seeking a Maintenance Technician/Handyman with excellent customer service and trade skills. Must be proficient in all aspects of home repair, including carpentry, painting and drywall. Hours: M-F, with alternating evening “on call” and every fourth weekend “on call.” Must live in Alexandria/Lorton, Springfield, Woodbridge area and have own reliable transportation. Requirements: Five years experience; must be able to pass background/criminal check; must be able to climb ladders and perform heavy lifting. Section 8/REAC experience a plus.
