Edison Academy will host a live virtual open house for high school students and their families on Wednesday, February 10.

Edison Academy will host a live virtual open house for high school students and their families on Wednesday, February 10, from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. Links to join the live sessions of this event will be posted on the Edison Academy Website Open House Announcement Page at 6:15 p.m. on the evening of the event. This open house is an opportunity for high school students and their families to learn about the academy’s program offerings for the 2021-22 school year. Prospective students can hear directly from teachers and student ambassadors, address questions to staff members and administrators regarding admissions, scheduling, transportation, support for English for speakers of other languages (ESOL) students and students enrolled in special education classes, student organizations, and industry credentials offered. Interested students are encouraged to visit the Edison Academy website prior to the open house to learn more about Edison Academy and to explore the many benefits of participating in an FCPS academy program. Edison Academy offers courses for high school students in Fairfax County, as part of their high school education, in the following areas of career and technical education: Automotive Collision and Automotive Technology; Cyber and Information Technology; Cosmetology; Criminal Justice; Culinary Arts; Electrical Construction and Engineering; Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration; Veterinary Science; and Youth Apprenticeship and Internship for qualifying students.
