Fairfax High School DECA hosted a Pink Out late in October to support breast cancer awareness. Junior DECA member Kaitlyn Robinson inspired her community and classmates by creating this awareness promotion campaign. Robinson encouraged her school and community to show their support for breast cancer awareness by wearing and displaying the color pink in any manner possible. Students showed up to classes wearing pink, posted on social media, and submitted pictures of themselves (and their friends and family) wearing pink to support the cause. Kay Walters and Gordie Ruohoniemi are DECA advisors at Fairfax High. Contact news liaison Erin Molek at ekmolek@fcps.edu.
