Lanier MS Students Support Inclusive Spirit Week

To celebrate spirit week at Lanier Middle, Katherine DiRosa’ s class dressed up each day and shared their creativity in pictures with their fellow students. Though the students were all participating virtually, the class used the lunch period to get together with their classmates, teachers, and administration team to share their outfits. DiRosa and her students recognize that administrators rarely get to be involved in fun classroom events like this, so it was important to for their classroom community to extend an invitation to the principal, assistant principals, and other administrators to join them. Every day during spirit week, the class took a few minutes each morning to take a picture and share so students and staff could follow along. Contact Michael Kunzler at mlkunzler@fcps.edu.
