November 12, 2020
Marshall High’s Leadership students and its Military Youth Liaison Organization reached out to the Marshall community to collect extra Halloween candy and donate it to the troops at Fort Belvoir through the USO. This drive is one of the school’s most popular and successful events, resulting in donations of hundreds of pounds of candy each year. Ninth grade student Mckenna and her family collected 428.6 pounds of candy in one week and happily dropped it off at the Fort Belvoir USO to boost the morale of the soldiers.
