Nysmith Odyssey of The Mind Team Heading to the World Championship

Nysmith School’s 6th Grade Odyssey of the Mind team (“the Nysmith Brainy Bunch”) recently won the Virginia State Championship to advance to the World Finals May 25-28 at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. OM is a creative problem-solving competition in which thousands of teams from the U.S. and 25 other countries, including China, Korea, Germany and India, apply their skills to everything from building mechanical devices to presenting their own interpretation of literary classics.
