Thoreau MS Seventh Grade Teacher Enlists Guest Speakers To Keep Students Motivated

English teacher Michelle Gabro keeps her Thoreau Middle seventh grade students motivated and engaged with a series of guest speakers—who also happen to be relatives— to talk about their jobs and read to her students. So far, Gabro has signed up a school counselor, a psychology teacher, a Department of Defense employee, a recent college graduate, a surgeon, and an employee of a multinational professional services firm.
