Kilwins Alexandria Now Open in Old Town Alexandria
The store sells ice cream, chocolates, toffees, caramels, caramel apples, caramel corn, salt water taffy and fudge in many varieties.
Kilwins Alexandria has opened its doors on King Street. The store, located at 212 King St., is part of a nationwide chain that’s been around since 1947. The spot was formerly home to P&C Art Galleries.
The store sells ice cream, chocolates, toffees, caramels, caramel apples, caramel corn, salt water taffy and fudge in many varieties; you’ll also find custom gift baskets and tins. Check out the ice cream flavors here.
The store is a franchise owned by Danielle Groisman and Javier Groisman; the Kilwins company was founded by Don and Katy Kilwin, in 1947 in Petoskey, Mich. and now has more than 96 stores “and growing” according to its Web site.
