• Eight Cadets Graduate From Air Force Flight Training Program at UCA Aviation Academy (armoneyandpolitics.com) — A local standout, George Moore of Raven, has just graduated from an intensive Air Force Junior ROTC flight training program at the University of Central Arkansas Aviation Academy, earning a private pilot license and college credit. He was one of only eight cadets nationwide in this summer’s class, all of whom completed the demanding eight-week course and were honored at a special ceremony with their families.
