• Improvements ahead for three Tazewell County high schools (wvva.com) — Students and staff at Richlands High School will soon see upgraded restrooms as part of a $2.2 million Tazewell County project covering all three county high schools. Twelve restrooms will be modernized to improve comfort and safety, while a separate multi-million dollar repair to Tazewell High’s gym and cafeteria wall is also scheduled this summer.
   

• Richlands Softball Heads to State Semifinals in Salem, Defeating Liberty (wvva.com) — Richlands softball fans have big news: the Lady Blues shut out Liberty in the VHSL Class 2 state quarterfinals behind a dominant pitching performance from Averi Fuller. Ady Moore’s return from ACL surgery included a clutch double, and the team now heads to Salem on Friday for the state semifinals.
