STERLING, VA — A Virginia lottery ticket worth $3 million in the Mega Millions drawing was purchased at Giant Food, 21000 South Bank Street. No one has yet to come forward to claim the prize, according to lottery officials.

Woman Assaults Cop In Woodbridge: Police

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A Woodbridge woman is being held without bond after assaulting an officer Tuesday in the 13500 block of Castlebridge Lane, according to Prince William County Police. Sharnique Altamarae Alfrido, 35, of the aforementioned address, was charged with assault and battery on a law enforcement officer and obstruction of justice.

Suspicious Vehicle Near White House Sends Authorities Scrambling

WASHINGTON, DC — The U.S. Secret Service spotted a suspicious vehicle near Lafayette Park and closed a section of a sidewalk outside the White House Thursday morning.
