Gunshots Force Evacuation Of Patriot HS Baseball Field In Nokesville

NOKESVILLE, VA — A Patriot High School baseball field where a game was being played was evacuated late Sunday afternoon after multiple gunshots were heard coming from an adjacent property, with some rounds reported to have struck the field, according to Prince William County Police. After an investigation, officers found that a resident was target shooting with a rifle on his property in the direction of the baseball field. Milan Mateo Ignacio Selaya Espinoza, 19, of the 12800 block of Vint Hilll Road, was charged with reckless handling of a firearm.
