• Volunteers give Penny House a much-needed facelift (theenterprise.net) — A longtime emergency shelter in Patrick Springs, the Penny House, is getting fresh paint, new flooring, and updated furnishings thanks to local church groups and volunteers, with donations managed through an address in Stuart. The home has supported more than 100 families after fires and floods, and organizers hope continued community support may eventually fund a second house.
