Argument Over Parking Spot Gets Ugly In Vienna: Police
Police say a man slapped a woman's cell phone when she started recording the argument.
VIENNA, VA—A spat over a parking spot escalated into an assault Sunday, March 24, according to Vienna Police.
Around 4:15 p.m., a woman reported the argument with another woman in a parking lot in the 400 Block Maple Avenue West. She claims the woman's husband approached and yelled at her.
When the woman recorded the incident, he slapped her phone, which resulted in him also striking her face.

Police say no charges were placed that day. The woman was notified of the warrant process should she decide to press charges.

March 22 1:50 p.m.
A resident reported a dog running at large. ACO Barker located the dog but was unable to locate the owner. The dog was
transported to the Fairfax County Animal Shelter.
300 Block Maple Avenue, West
March 25 9:00 a.m.
A resident reported that he was traveling eastbound on Maple Avenue when another driver attempted to run him off the road, made hand gestures toward him, then sped off.

A citizen reported an infant and a young child were left unattended in a vehicle in the parking lot. Officers located the vehicle, checked on the welfare of each child and waited for the driver to return to the car.
Ofc. Nesbit issued two summonses charging Child Abuse and Neglect to the 57-year-old woman from Niblick Drive, SE in Vienna.
