Chase the Submarine Opens Wednesday

Chase the Submarine, a modern deli/butcher at 132 Church St., is set to open Wednesday in Vienna.

Chase the Submarine’s goal: to be a gastronomical haven, offering gourmet sandwiches, a butcher shop and coffee shop. The creation of Michael Amouri of Caffe Amouri, and the husband and wife team of chef Tim Ma and Joey Hernandez of the Tim Ma Restaurant Group, Chase the Submarine will feature tastes from around the globe while celebrating the best of Virginia’s farms and local purveyors.

You can expect everything from house-cured pastrami to homemade pickles. Ma is the chef behind Maple Avenue Restaurant, WATER & WALL in Arlington and a new restaurant opening in DC’s Shaw neighborhood.

Hours are:

• Monday-Thurday: 10:30 am-8 pm
• Fri-Sat: 10:30 am-9 pm
• Sun: 10:30 am-8 pm
