The designation means that Assistance League, through its membership in the GuideStar Exchange, has completed GuideStar’s thorough and exhaustive process of information sharing. One criterion for achieving this high rating relates to the nonprofit’s annual expenses. In recent years, an average of 87 percent of Assistance League’s total revenue has gone toward supporting its mission to transform lives and strengthen community.
