• CEHD alumna recognized as preschool special educator of the year (gmu.edu) — A West Springfield-based preschool special education teacher at Cardinal Forest Elementary has been honored as Fairfax County's Preschool Special Educator of the Year. She credits her George Mason training, strong professional relationships, and a new inclusive co-teaching model in Fairfax County Public Schools for helping her support young learners' academic, social, and emotional growth.
