Fairfax Community Gathers to Address Hate Crimes

Leaders from Jewish and Muslim institutions spoke to about 250 Fairfax County residents who packed the cultural center at Northern Virginia Community College’s Annandale campus Sunday to discuss how to combat hate crimes and speech. Concerns over an uptick in hate crimes both in the Fairfax County area and across the U.S. promoted officials and religious leaders to hold the meeting.
