• Cost of new Williamsburg library grows by more than $10 million (pilotonline.com) — Williamsburg officials are weighing a new downtown library that's now projected to cost about $37 million, more than $10 million above earlier estimates, with borrowing planned as soon as this fall. The project would replace the aging current library near the Stryker Center, demolish the old police station next spring, and aims to open a larger, more modern facility by August 2028.
