• Chapmanville Regional High School boys' basketball program sanctioned by the WVSSAC (wowktv.com) — Chapmanville Regional High School’s boys’ basketball program has been placed on three years’ probation by the WVSSAC, with the entire athletic program on two years’ probation, after an investigation into the team. Transfers will face extra review, coaches must follow tighter rules, and one assistant coach is suspended for a year, while the head coach’s suspension is under appeal.
