• Davis Man Arrested in Oakland Following Car Theft Investigation (parsonsadvocate.com) — A 21-year-old Davis resident was arrested in Oakland, Maryland after deputies linked him to a vehicle and credit card theft at a local parking lot, where cards were later used at multiple businesses. He was taken into custody after briefly fleeing officers and now faces several theft-related charges while being held without bond. Oakland authorities are asking anyone with recent vehicle break-ins or thefts to contact their office.
